A friend of mine had told me he had his old college commuter bike hanging in the garage, with a Brooks saddle. He has let me borrow the saddle for a while to see if it, or that type of saddle, would work for me. (I am a complete n00b to this so am just trying things out to see how they fit.)

The bike is a spraypainted CCM (stamped on the rear dropout). It isn't my size and I didn't examine it closely but it has a 531 sticker, Simplex derailleurs, shimano hubs, Weinmann brakes, and this leather saddle (below). No Brooks tag or stamp on it anywhere and they seem like a company very proud of their products, as are Wrights and Ideale. So is this some kind of Brooks no-name knockoff? Anyone seen this before?
