Go for it!

In the last week before school started, my daughter and I went for a six day tour, and at the end my odometer read 396.7 or something. She was disappointed we didn't break 400 (okay, so was I)! But it gave me a good opportunity to review some of the things she'd learned in math class last year, such as rounding numbers. Just as 396.7 rounds up to 400, 7.6 rounds to 8. Heck, you can even round it to 10!

Another option is to tweak your route a little so it comes out to 8.002 or something, but that's between you and your maker.
