Take a look at
these hacks if you haven't seen them yet. I've used something like the first one with the double snap hook except I zip tied it to my bag loops instead of using hose clamps. I was using my Pendle for commuting, this saved some time and hassle. Didn't look great but it worked and didn't cost much.
