I just picked this bike up today off of Craigslist. It looks like some decent production bike quality, but neither the previous owner or I can figure out the maker. Someone repainted it at some point. Any help would be great. Here are some photos with descriptions below. Details to follow below the pictures.




Suntour GS drop outs. Suntour Cyclone RD, "GT" stamped on lower pulley cage. "Maeda Industries LTD, Japan XT" stamped on interior face of parallelogram. I believe it is original. Chrome stays. Shimano 600 6 speed freewheel.



Suntour Cyclone FD. Sugino Mighty Tour Cranks triple, 170mm stamped "J-10" Notice the cable guides above the BB. Sugino BB 1.37x24T


Shimano 600 Headset.


Suntour downtube shifter. sloped fork crown. heart shaped clamp stop.


Sunshine Pro Am front hub. I believe this is original.


Ukai rim. This is the front. The rear wheel is a replacement.


Shimano 105 brakes. I doubt these are original.


wrap around seat cluster with gap. Sugino bolt. 26.8 seatpost.


Long diamond stiffeners at the brake bridge.

Frame Notes: Chorme stays and fork blades. top tube cable brazeons. brake bridge diamond stiffeners. heart shaped clamp stop on down tube. sloping fork crown. cable guides above BB. cable stop on chainstay. fender eyelets on drops. stamped lugs. Suntour GS drops. English threading. 26.8 seat post size.

Headset: Shimano 600 - I don't know if this is original
Brakes: Shimano 105 calipers and levers. I don't think these are original.
SR stem and Sakae Road Champion bars
Sunshine Pro AM hub laced to Ukai rim - believed to be original
Sugino Mighty Tour Cranks - triple
Sugino BB - 1.37x24T
Suntour DT shifters
