depends where you are. I have the skinks, they are bright!

It is pretty safe to leave them on all the time. When I go to the supermarket I leave my helmet hanging over the bars with no problems. (although who wants a steal a stinky sweaty helmet, even if it did cost ¥20,000 or $200 in Yankie monopoly mulah)
