Well, approaching the 1 week mark with my new ride (Trek 2.3). I have been doing a 35 mile loop which starts in-town, takes me out of town and back in. Riding great, trying to get in under 2 hours.....(been averaging 2:10 ish....) get back into town and approach a one-way at mile 30.....car coming, so I try to balance it or sache' it as usual...wrong gear....unclip, unclip...uh-oh....bang.....my first clipless fall! I get back up, everything looks cool....get back on and haul ass from the scene.....scratched up the left side 105 Brake/shifter lever....left pedal and rear skewer.......learned my lesson though....unclip jackass....

Should I really worry about anything being damaged other than cosmetically? Pedaled home fine...sucks scratching up the new beaut.....oh well, lesson learned......

I am approaching 150 miles on the week, and plan to bust out 75 in the morning, Lord willing....thanks for listening to the rant....
