Hello it is hard to make it out but does the toptube say "Giro"? this looks like a '88 Giro Formula2 with Victory. I do agree with Tmar that the Chorus was put on to make it shift better. we had one where I worked and we put 600 on it. the spec says 7spd Regina but it may have been changed by the owner or the shop for some reason. how many teeth on the small cog?
what are the little gray lines right behind the HT/DT lug? that could be a sign of a earlier minor trauma
btw the Giro was #3 in the line the Mondial/CRec was top then the SUper Leggera/Chorus then the Giro/Victory
