Unless you're buried under snow and ice everyday winter riding is lots of fun. I didn't ride in the winter when I first started riding but got tired of the trainer so I decided to venture out and have been doing so ever since. The key is getting the right gear to keep you warm without weighing you down or restricting your movement too much, the rest is just getting over the mental block of being out in the cold. I am assuming of course there aren't other reasons you can't ride in the winter of course.
