hi,

i have a bigger issue with my dahon mu xl since REI fixed the recalled handlepost. i can't fold my bike since the handle grip rubs the tire and so i can't roll it. as some of you know, i am doing a multi modal commute so being able to roll the bike is a big factor for me. can the dahon mu owners post a picture of their handle bar showing the QR. my old QR has a notch that will enable me to move it back and forth. REI told me that the recalled handlepost is generic and standard for all recalled dahon brands (curve, mu, etc.). i already went back to REI 3 times and all the time they will not give me my old handlepost. i asked them and even told them i will sign a waiver if i can have my old handlepost back. but they wouldn't let me due to recall issue. since i can't fold my bike properly now, i am thinking that the handleposts they installed on my mu is not the correct one. i would really appreciate it if someone can post some pics.
