So if "when someone is perpetually offended and constantly searching for offense they will find it everywhere," why not try to prove her wrong instead of writing her off as a "feminist with a chip on her shoulder?"
Actually, the point he was making was not entirely baseless. There are forms of harassment and intolerance where the aggressor claims the status of victim.
I'm not in any way suggesting that people shouldn't take harassment issues seriously. Rather, what constitutes harassment or injustice is determined by the specific facts at hand and not just by the gender, race, religion, whatever of the person making the claim. The dynamic has nothing to do with feminism per se. There are plenty of guys who do this too.
Hell, we have our own cycling equivalent. There is a reason that some posters seem to be perpetually harassed by motorists while others who ride further in the same conditions do not experience these problems.
