Both the Ride around the Buttes and the Chico Wildflower are great rides. The Wildflower is much tougher due to the climbing. I have only done the original 40 mile RAB. I was born in Yuba City, so it is my "goin' home" ride! The Wildflower has really grown into a major, high participant count event, the RAB's are still "homey".

Both ride provide the opportunity to ride in/through some unique geological formations. The Sutter Buttes are the world's smallest mountain range and the Chico/Oroville area provides tabletop mountains.

Cheers,
Geary
