Bikes: See my sig...

Tire: Schwalbe Hurricane Sport
Size: 26 by 2.0
Price: $32.00 (retail)
Pros: Bulletproof, extremely long life.
Cons: None.

My longest serving tires have actually been a set of Schwalbe Hurricanes that now have over 10,000 km on them and still look as good as new.

These are a 26 by 2.0 tire that are designed for road and hard packed trails and run 35-75 psi and I have done it all on these tires although their primary use has been commuting in all kinds of weather.

I have gotten one flat when a valve stem pulled away from the tube and these do have puncture protection and get a maximum durability rating from Schwalbe.

The centre tread is very firm and they roll out remarkably fast while the smaller side lugs are great for off road riding... I have used them on challenging single track with no issues although they suffer a little on climbs where the surface is lose.

If people want a versatile mtb tire this is my number one pick and they can even be purchased with reflective sidewalls and the folding version weighs 560 grams. I have been using the wired version.
