Well, I'd like to thank in advance to all of those that have contributed tips, advice, and points of wisdom. God knows I'll need it all and then some.

I was very concerned about the weather. I have been looking at the forecast for a couple of days now and it shows nothing but rain and thunderstorms all the way to sunday with sunny skies monday. Hope it gets there sooner though. I do have cold weather gear, and was planing on bringing it. The thing that concerns me is cold AND wet. I can do wet in warm weather, but combined with cold is another level of misery I am not sure I am willing to endure for the heck of it. Then again, after driving nearly 10 hr to get there, I am not sure what it will really take for me not to start.

I seriously hope I have the legs to finish this. I went to Clermont this past sunday just do ane asy 50 miler and I suffered tremendously. My legs felt tired from the get go. It could have been accrued fatigue from the previous days combined with dehydration from getting lost with not enough water, but I do hope I fair much better this coming sunday. We'll see.

Don't be surprised if I can pick you in the crowd. There can't possibly that many people with a bright orange tandem doing this ride LOL.......... I should be the guy climbing on the SAG in mile 20 or so.......
