It is the rear wheel. And yes, I did know it was like this at the beginning of the ride. I noticed it a few days earlier while cleaning, and then realized I had seen it before so knew that it had been functioning like this for awhile. I know I may be a bit reckless or not careful with things like this. But I am going to quit while I am ahead and have new wheels very soon.
