Tire: Bell Road Tire (for MTB)
Size: 26 x 1.75
Price: $14 at Walmart
Pros: very slightly better rolling friction over mtb tires
Cons: universal sizing, wear, PSI - not worth it

I needed a bike tire quick, and I didn't have much money, so I did the unthinkable.

I noticed definite wear on the tire in the first week of riding. After a month of riding, it looks like it's been on for 6 months. I do not expect this tire to last long.

Even when aired up to its max at 65psi, the tire squashes to the ground pretty bad. I'm a large rider, but I have a skinnier tire holding up better than this thing at equal or less PSI. The rubber is just plain flimsy. This means the rolling resistance of the tire is not much better than a mountain bike tire, for me at least.

The price is very high for the amount of tire you get. I'm only writing this so no one tries to get a quick tire at a department store. There are tires online at a cheaper price and much better quality.
