No prob. I like working the front in these rides. My problem with Knoxville was that I hadn't really done any training rides leading up to this. I was hammering as if I was at my peak even though I'm in my worst shape of the season
As for the wheel, I can't see the photo (internet filter) but I'm guessing you have a cracked rim at the eyelet. What kind of rim is it? It's possible to just buy a replacement rim and move all the spokes over. Of course, I'm always looking for an excuse to buy something new so this is a good reason for you to 'upgrade'.
