It came from my younger brother's Cannondale Black Lightning (thus the black and gold anodizing) as a bonus Cannondale gives with their Frameset package. He traded it in for other compnents from me back in the 80's. I don't have it anymore because I just gave it back to my brother a few weeks ago to convince him to restore his Black Lightning. I really wanted to keep what I think is a rare Superbe Pro derailleur (with it's black and gold finish) but giving it back to my brother was the right thing to do.
