I had a mid 80's univega super strada that I raced on back in the late 80's. With a bit of scraping on the toptube decal, I converted mine to a "super rad". The super strada was univega's top of the line racing frameset and is a very high quality. Probably best looking feature was the slick looking seatpost binder integral with the seatstays. My bike had "conventional" shifter bosses so was probably slightly later but otherwise looked very similar to yours. The super strada had a fairly long wheelbase and somewhat relaxed geometry as compared to "twitchy" contemporary race bikes but I am sure it would have been designed for 700c wheels rather than 27". Italian rims on an otherwise japanese bike strongly indicate to me that the rims were a later add-on.
