joejack951, Tightening Porsche axle nuts and flywheel gland nuts are the challenges that led me to the bathroom scale technique described earlier in this thread. I use a 36 mm impact socket on a 3/4 inch breaker bar, an 8 foot length of 2" steel pipe and an very accurate bathroom scale. It makes tightening the gland nut to 450 foot-pounds fairly easy and quite accurate, as long as there is also someone beefy enough to keep the engine stand from flipping over.
