That's why I think it's tricky of the tire manufacturers to try to tell us that wide tires have same/better rolling resitance "at the same pressure" because what they mean is if you handicap the narrower tire by not running enough air in it and only run as much psi as you do in the wide tire, then the wide tire will win. Of course it will. But that's not gonna happen in the real world.
I'm not trying to diss wide tires: I like them just fine.
