The only thing I'd be worried about with those:

1. They're gigantic and can be seen from miles away
2. You can't really wear just one ear at a time like with earbuds
3. It's illegal to ride on public roads with earphones on both ears

I'm sure it's kinda like rolling stops in that you're unlikely to ever get a ticket, but you're kinda opening yourself up for a cop who's having a bad day to hit you with an infraction.
