Univega is a good brand, although I don't know alot about them (they're Japanese, I think). My ex next-door neighbor had a Panasonic with the Tange 900 tubing and the same spec as your Univega and it was suprizingly light despite the 62cm frame. He let me ride it and it seemed to be very agile and comfortable, a real joy to ride.

I think it would be a good candidate for some modernizing/upgrading if you're so inclined.
