Pro3's grip best of anything I've ridden (great in the wet too) but weren't durable enough for what I needed.
Conti GP4000S grip almost as well (also great in the wet) and last, and last, and last... Cheap too for what they are.
I have to agree...they grip like crazy. Only, they don't last very long. However, that seems to true in most sports that require a soft-sticky rubber tire. Great traction, not so great wear life.
I'm hoping my Conti's last a bit longer.
