Thanks for the info. From other forums both of those tyre choices have been recommended. Be interested to hear how the Conti's perform. Whish I could miss all the crud on the roads but there seems to be a lot around at present. May be a combimation of Autumn and no rain for long time. Also take a route that suffers from a lot of rock fall due to goats! Spend quite a lot of time chasing them up a steep road, havcnt hit one yet but they are so stupid you never know.
