Well truth be told, I didn't bother asking. I just grab the chainset pack and paid. Off i went. I didn't know that there's differences in chains. Yikes! It's only a bicycle.... or so I thought.
However to think about it further, I do notice that the chain now rubs against the FD cage on some gear combos. None before.
