I know that my team (ABRT/Latitude) is going to start doing some rides around Frederick and Thurmont if you are interested. Head east and there are tons of rides out of the Davidsonville area. BBC is big out of Baltimore and there are a number of rides right around DC (NCVC and Route 1 Velo have a large presence there).
Heck, come out to Columbia and meet a few of us as we cheer on Maxine.
