Get the foam roller. It's the healthiest torture any cyclist can inflict upon themselves. You don't know how tight your legs are - and how that impacts your overall posture and mood - until you've done the roller for a half hour or so a few times a week.

The IT band is very, very difficult to get to by stretches. Pressure treatment is almost a necessity.
