I was an investigator of diamond and jewelry thefts for several years. This technology was just coming in to play a couple of years ago when I got out of the business. It seemed promising, but everyone knew it was just a matter of time before the thieves learned how to disable the devices.

Are you suggesting more "baiting" of bicycles to sweep these criminals, or are you suggesting that bikes be equipped with GPS trackers, sort of like "lo-jack?"
