I took a spill yesterday after i was traveling across a 1" stepped raise in the road (paving stones turning into cement). It felt like the bikes jumped away from me in the opposite direction i was going.

In this situation is it just he wheel reflecting off the step, or does the tire grab the step and do something crazy?

Note: this was just a funny road not steps.
