go for 43x16. nice low 70's... you can get a rocket ring for cheap, like 19 bucks. with the chain, you'll find out when you get to it. if you dont feel like messing with the chain, then you could opt for the more expensive option, a new rear cog (15t). the extra tooth in the rear wont change much.
