Maybe but I'm also beginning to sense a backlash against cell phone users. I was on an organized ride several weeks ago when I received a text message on my Blackberry. So I stopped by the side of the road to read the message. It was my daughter who had misplaced her keys and wanted to know when I'd be back. As I began to type in a quick response one of the marshals interrupted me and said the rest stop was only a couple of miles away. I guess he didn't think cyclists should text whether they were moving or not!
