Bikes: 2008 Trek Madone 5.5, 2005 Marin Novato, Trek 7100

I have the Fenix L2DQ5 which has been fabulous. How does it compare to the RC-N3 Q5? Anyone compared them? The RC is quite a bit cheaper than the Fenix and both use AA batteries.
