Drunken young fools on clapped out motorbikes with no lights whipping past on your inside while you are turning, buses flying straight at you on the wrong side of the road, drunken old fools on clapped out motorbikes with no lights flying right out of blind side streets without so much as a glance over the shoulder.
Only a 20K round trip, but in Hanoi on wet tarmac 20K can feel like a long long way.
