Wow I feel Less then adequate right now... I was thinking about learning to build wheels... Now I think I will let others do it for me... which is sad as I build furniture do a lot of home remodeling and love anything to do with tools.
Maybe it would help if I read the article in stead of randomly staring at graphs and equasions.
Go to Sheldon Browns website follow the directions there i.e. buy the tools including the tension gauge and buy the right spokes for your hub/rim combination and have at it.
You can do it and it will be fun
