here's the yelp review:
"If you buy a bike that doesn't have 'history'-- that is, from craigslist, and they suspect that it's stolen, the folks will call the police to check, without your permission. If the bike is reported as stolen property, you will lose your bike and your $. No warning, no signs on the door or anything. I understand that it's a moral obligation for the bike shop to turn the bike in, but it certainly doesn't make me feel good to lose a bike and nearly a grand to some bike thief. I will NOT be purchasing my next bike from them NOR will I be getting my bike fixed there-- or at their affiliate site... It's a shame. This unfortunately has totally ruined my weekend as I wait for the police to contact me..."
