Nice early 70's french "bike boom" 10 speed. I have the mens version. A lot of these were sold back in the 70's. I think they are real classics. Nothing fancy, but well made, dependable bikes. The Grand Sport Deluxe was the basic "starter" ten speed. Compares to a Peugeot UO-8 or Raleigh Grand Prix.
Yeah, it's got a lot of the same components as my Peugeot UO-18. I've had good success removing rust from a couple of old Peugeots in similar condition. Don't know if that seatpost can be salvaged though. Give it a try with a wire brush (copper, not steel) and some solvent. I use paint thinner. I'm talking about the metal parts, not the frame.
