Illegal in UK already. Still see people doing it though. Another distraction is pedestrians on their cell phones crossing the road without looking. Most of the time cyclists are privy to this detail, but sometimes the pedestrian just walks out behind a truck or bus without thinking (not that people not using phnoes think a whole bunch anyway but still...).

Yet another distraction is people talking on their cellphones while riding bikes. The least offensive thing I've seen is a cyclist riding very slowly on one side of the road with a hand phone. Not too bad. The worst I've seen is kids going into the opposite direction of traffic, at night, with no lights, riding hands free, while on the phone, and looking downards.
