The Showers Pass jackets are excellent for this. I own the Double Century and the Elite 2.0 jackets. They are totally windproof (and rainproof, duh) but have exceptional ventilation designed into the jacket, including a huge opening in rear where the top half overlaps the bottom.

No, I'm looking for a jacket that's windproof in the front and more breathable in the back. The Shower's Pass jacket (for obvious reasons) uses the same semi-breathable material in the back.

I actually personally own one, and though I got it at the end of last year, it's worked pretty well on all the cold days. I'm looking for something more breathable than it for my dad, though.
