Bonty selects are known for cracking around the nipples. Poor design and known failure mode...IMHO.

If the wheels are less than 5 years old you should be able to warranty them through your dealer IIRC. If they do then ride what they give you.

If they don't....get a handbuilt rear wheel. It will last you a very long time and represent a great value for the price you put into it.

Riding mismatching wheels is perfectly fine. In my opinion it tends to be a sign of someone who rides instead of worrying about what they're riding. Not a bad thing.

If you can afford it then yes swap out for a decent low end handbuilt set. Your front is most likley on it's last legs as well.

I am based because I build of course....but I make no attempt to hide the fact that I have a great deal of disdain for Bonty selects in specific and paired spoking in general.
