Yeah, it can get pricey using warmers, but I usually find deals here and there and stock up for multiple winters
My fingers/toes get instantly cold even in 50 degrees, and even PI amfib winter booties don't work that well for me. Warmers work so well though when it's cold I've forgotten what cold toes feels like. I use the assos glove system for my hands and it's fantastic too.
