I think most bike shops are starting to do this. There is just too much legal risk to carry used bikes. In fact, in Austin, I only have heard of one bike shop that has used stuff.

I'm guessing that with the fact that bike theft has gone off the charts in Austin in the past year, there is just too much risk in this.
