OCt 03...Another 52 trail miles. Uh-huh, Uh-huh ,Uh-huh, I see you Brokenrider, out there racking up miles trying to catch me on Bikejournal. Hehehe! To start off the ride, we're just about to roll form the Leaky fountain when some dude says to Gina, "I recognize you from lastweek". We spoke last week for a bit of cycling chat but he remembers Gina ? Now that hurts! It's cool, turns out hsi name is Peter and the gal's name is Liz. Doing some 25 milers working their way up! I'm sure they feel like kicking me when I say, "if you can do 25, you can do 50". I've been kicked before but really, I mean it in a good way haha! We have some good friendly bike chat then we're off. Of course they will prolly remember Gina again next time!

As soon as we hit the trail, Pinoybentrider creeps up on us. Good thing he told us that he was on a slow cruise prepping for Poway tomorrow cause Gina was just about to drop the hammer! We did about a 10 mile stretch with him back to Yorba Park then Gina and I headed to Gypsum. Back to the coast on what was a niiiice day! A little breezy like always but nice temps.

Some laughs with friends at the coast then headed back. Tammy and Alan along for the ride and doing some major pulls.This dude Alan is really picking up the pace now. Tammy was strong when we first met but now if you ask Alan about riding, he's like, "Dude, like I'm pretty seeeeerious now".

Tammy is strong so I thought we'd have some fun with it! At one point we pulled over so that Gina could check her helmet the dreaded bee entry. Nothing so we jumped back on it! A rider had passed as we were pulled to the side. As we approached the rider, I waved Tammy to the front. I know it's evil but lots of guys can't handle getting "chicked"..(passed by a gal). So I let her on the front to pull us past the guy just to watch his reaction. I like to do that kind of stuff for funzies sometimes. Gina will never do it but Tammy had no problem. She was like,"let me at him!". Little did I know she'd kick the pace up and try to drop me too! All good fun! Hehehe! Tammy used to run marathons so she's pretty fit but TAMMY! You aint supposed to drop The Mayor!
