OK ... to be honest, i was skeptical about the gold bits.

HOWEVER, when i recieved my blue bike and installed them ... i couldn't remember what i was skeptical about. they do not look bad at all and now that i've ogled mybike for a bout a week now, i'm actually quite fond of them.

the chain is not bright at all, in fact i'd call it brass before gold. and the pedals are covered up by your shoes.

as a former skeptic, i'd like to offer my thumbs up for the idea. with the blue, at least i think it is not a deal breaker at all, and actually quirky and different.
