If you have any piece of the light, even just the clip, and you bought it at a brick-and-mortar store, take it back. They might give you a new one (this happened to me with a different brand and the LBS took care of me).
Thanks for the advice, Performance gave me a new one. Now I'll be getting the rack specific mount and taping/rubber-banding/ziptieing this one on.
I just now see that Price Point has a 9.99 version and PBK has the same SF version rebadged for $18 (and no shipping or tax)
I may pick up a few more if I have any other orders to make.
