Well I've been riding the wabi laminates recently for 4 days, and i like them ALOT better than my soma doubles that i was running before. All city standard pedals with plastic all city clips, and the wabi straps. So far i have not had to adjust the wabi's NEARLY as much as the somas. The wabi's slip LOTS less. I think that i've adjusted them once because i was using different shoes than my last ride. Overall i think they are winners. Keep in mind that I've never ridden toshis. All in all These straps are worth my scrilla right now, much better than the somas hands down. On the flip side though when i opened the package my living room soon smelled like elephant dick. Yeah, that's right... These things stink.

Bottom line: if you are in the market for cheap doubles and want good bang for the buck (that wont slip like somas or stretch) get the wabi.
