dremal them off with a cut off wheel and then hit it with a file to clean it up. I have also run a rock guard or bash ring on the outside when using a double. Thought about cutting the teeth of a D/A 10spd ring so I can use that crank and keep something smooth on the outside. I can't wait for the matching Track Crank from Shimano. This lead to just working on how to modify a existing outboard BB Design. I'll let you know if we post anything about it on the Web Site.
