Well I have a Schwinn Breeze to fix up for my mom! Her boyfriend works for the town and got it free at the annual dump days, where people in the town bring in their crap to throw out. anyone have good links to replacement tires? NO EBAY! Any other reputable online dealer is ok though. I was thinking I should probably put better rim strips on it too, I have never been too crazy about the cheap rubber ones.
My mom is actually excited, none of my bikes are her size, so she will have a bike to ride around now. And I am excited to have a winter bike project (on top of others)!
Go for it, there are plenty of parts around to fix it up and keep it stock looking. Any bike shop should be able to order the tires you need, if they don't already have them in stock.

What size tire does it have on it now? Some came with 24" and others 26". I would suspect 26x1-3/8" tires, but need you to confirm what the current tires say before recommending something/website.
I would think they most likely will be the
Schwinn S-6 size which is different from your normal 26"x1-3/8" tires.
