Almost didn't ride in as there were reports of fog and drizzle in the city but it was dry at my place so off I went at 5:30 am. Loving my new magicshine 900 light. It was low 40's (5-6C) and dry until about 15 miles in, ran into the drizzle and the fog. Couldn't tell if the water flying off my face when I turned my head was sweat or rain water. Love that feeling. My bag was too heavy. Still carrying a messenger bag but it doesn't work with all of the stuff I had in there this morning. I felt like my lungs had to move the bag to fully expand when breathing hard. I'll leave the laptop at the office this time and won't be carrying all of the food home so that'll shed 12 about pounds for the ride home.

Wednesday afternoon was just about the hardest commute home I've done. Winds were 25-30mph gusting to 40 and it was a headwind about 2/3 of the ride. Had the laptop in the messenger bag that day with some other stuff I wanted to take home from the office. Worked from home the rest of the week.
