The ride in was uneventful; I overdressed. It was 50 degrees when I left so I started peeling layers pretty quickly during the ride. Remembering the colder mornings last week, last night I crocheted myself a neck warmer thing- it's ugly but it gets the job done. It's like a circular rug that covers my neck and chin. In calico colors. Now if I could only figure out how to crochet mittens and wool socks... I'm about as low-tech as you get. The kids waiting for the bus in the morning just love to see what mismatched thrown together crap I'm wearing as I go past- they always get a good laugh, and I laugh with them.

Just wait till they get a load of my ear flap hat... heheh
There was an awful headwind on the ride home, I am unfortunate to ride due west in the afternoons, so with storm systems as they are, I would only ever experience a tailwind during a noreaster... when I'm sure I'd have other things to worry about.
