The uber-light and STIFF Cannondale Slice Si full carbon fork is 100% carbon fiber, from steerer to drop outs. TIME makes this fork entirely by hand in France...even hand-weaving the carbon sheets in house! The result is a work-of-art in the very same way the Thomson Masterpiece seatpost is crafted. This fork's stiffness and tensile strength rating was in the same league as the LOOK HSC-5SL, Easton EC-90SLX and the Ritchey Carbon Pro forks as tested by Bike Magazine in Germany. Made for only three model years(2002-2004), the TIME/Si fork is undoubtedly Cannondale's FINEST FORK ever produced.

I effectively removed 250 grams(1/2 pound) off the bike...and the difference is felt the instant I spin 110rpm downhill, with rock-solid 45mph stability and telepathic steering precision. Even though I waited almost three months for this rare, out-of production fork to appear- it is the BEST $75.00 I ever spent on my bike.
